Organizers of the 70th annual meeting in Lindau (Germany) extend invitations to outstanding junior researchers only. One of these junior researchers is JKU Assistant Professor Alexander Ahammer (Institute of Economics, chairman: Prof. Rudolf Winter-Ebmer). Being invited is a great honor as the committee sets strict guidelines, inviting only the top 5% of economists around the world under the age of 35 and who demonstrate an "excellent academic track record". Assist. Prof. Ahammer considers this an exciting prospect to exchange new ideas. The JKU economist added: "The meeting is a unique opportunity to personally meet and interact with the most important economists of our time, get ideas, meet with other up-and-coming young researchers, and expand my professional network."
