Fingers crossed: A joint JKU/voestalpine project is up for a VERENA Innovation Award.

Margarete Schramböck, Austrian Federal Minister for Digitalization and Business Locations, will reveal the winners at a ceremony on March 22, 2018, and present the State Innovation Award as well as the highly coveted VERENA Award to Austria’s most innovative company. The JKU is among the three VERENA finalists. The university’s joint collaboration project together with the voestalpine focuses on research in bonding electrical steel packages for highly efficient electric motors.
