The National Economic Society is a non-profit association to support the general public in the field of economics and foster theoretical and applied economics. Established by Josef Schumpeter and Ludwig van Mises, the NÖG is an association of all economists in Austria and focuses on representing and organizing business administration in Austria, organizing conferences, and supporting universities.
