The Department of Human Resource Development extended an invitation to HS 1 on December 12 to listen to Florian Klenk (investigative journalist and editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper Falter) and Julia Herrnböck (investigative journalist at Dossier). On behalf of the Rectorate, Dr. Margit Waid welcomed over 100 guests, the guest speakers, and presenter Sandra Nuspl. Klenk and Herrnböck then spoke about how journalism has developed in Austria over the past 25 years as well as the social, political and financial challenges currently facing the profession. Exciting stories and entertaining anecdotes provided for an instructive, entertaining evening. Discussions continued at the reception that followed the presentations.
