MORE Student is a Discussion Moderator

Television conveys much about the plight of asylum seekers but Arasch Sayed Azim, a student in the JKU’s MORE program, goes one step further as a discussion moderator at DorfTV.

The MORE initiative supports refugees and helps them enroll in a degree program at the JKU. The JKU is part of the program and at the end of last year, the JKU and Borealis joined forces to create a MORE grant. The program has proved to be very popular and the number of submitted applications for a spot in the program has risen greatly. Arasch Sayed Azim is currently in the program and is also now a discussion moderator for DorfTV. During a program on March 19 he sat down and spoke with Haseebullah Rasoly, a student from Afghanistan, about his life, work, and his academic studies in Austria.
