Together with the Innsbruck-based organizational researcher Leonhard Dobusch and six other colleagues, JKU Professor Elke Schüßler (head of the Institute of Organization Science) has developed a unique, English-language management course for graduate business degree programs titled "Organizing in Times of Crisis: The Case of Corona". All readers, assignments and lectures are openly licensed and accessible via a blog; the videos are available on a separate YouTube channel. These centrally available resources can be used separately at different university locations. To make things easier for faculty members and students who have childcare and other family responsibilities, the course has been asynchronously designed so the topics can be handled separately. The course syllabus and accompanying slides are also available through the blog in a freely editable format. This is course is already being held at the JKU as part of the Master's degree program "Leading Innovative Organizations". All of the participating faculty members have extensive research and educational experience in different facets of crisis management and their short lectures are making important social and economic contributions when it comes to better understanding the current crisis situation.
