Researchers at the JKU Faculty of Medicine can take advantage of a consulting service for clinical studies and clinical research projects. The Center for Clinical Research (ZKF) at the Faculty of Medicine at the Johannes Kepler University Linz was established with the research institutions Competence Center for Clinical Studies Linz (KKS Linz) and the Biobank Linz (Biobank Linz) and clinical researchers will now be able to make use of initial services.

During a pilot phase and under the academic direction of Assoc. Univ.Prof. Mag. Dr. Helga Wagner, statistician Dr. Philipp Hermann, MSc., will offer statistical consulting services for KKS Linz employees involved in clinical research projects at the Faculty of Medicine. The consulting services will also be offered to researchers at the Kepler University Hospital providing they are involved in a research project commissioned by the Johannes Kepler University Linz or if they are conducting research in the educational programs Clinician Scientist and Advanced Clinician Scientist (CSP and ACSP).
