Vice-Rector Christopher Lindinger presented Philipp Stadler (Institute of Physical Chemistry) and Werner Haslmayr (Department of Communications Engineering) with their respective academic certification.

About Philipp Stadler and Werner Haslmayr

Born in 1981, DI Dr. Philipp Stadler studied chemistry at the JKU, earning his post-doctorate/habilitation (venia docendi) in 2019 with his dissertation titled "Metallic Properties of Conducting Polymers". His academic career thus far includes 68 peer-reviewed papers, 2 patents, and 3 grants. His research focuses on organic bioelectronics and colloidal quantum dots.

Also born in 1981, DI Dr. Werner Haslmayr studied telematics at the TU in Graz and earned his doctorate at the JKU in 2013. He earned his post-doctorate/habilitation (venia docendi) in 2020 with his dissertation titled "Unconventional Communications, Networking, and Computing Paradigms". His research focuses mainly on molecular communications.
