JKU Rector Meinhard Lukas personally presented the certificates.

Mag. Dr. Barbara Stiglbauer (Department of Work, Organizational and Media Psychology) received the habilitation certificate for her work "Resources at Work - A Resource-Focused View on Work and Well-Being" which focuses on issues concerning the requirements of a VUCA work environment and the impact on employees’ health and well-being.

Born in 1986, Stiglbauer majored in psychology in Salzburg and subsequently received her doctorate degree at the JKU. She also holds academic qualifications in clinical psychology and health psychology, sports psychology, and occupational psychology. She acquired practical experience at the Christian-Doppler Clinic in Salzburg (2008) and at the Occupational Medical Service in Linz (2013).

Dr. Daniela Maresch LL.M. (Institute for Innovation Management)

Dr. Maresch’s earned her habilitation certificate in business administration for her academic work titled "Entrepreneurship, Innovation und Technologiemanagement – Eine kontextabhängige Betrachtung" in which she talks about the importance of spatial and legal embedding activities when it comes to business start-up companies, innovation and technological development.

Maresch studied business and business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at ESC Lyon. After earning a doctorate degree, she worked in the field of group accounting and corporate law for several years. She moved to academia in 2014 and became a university assistant at the Institute for Innovation Management (Johannes Kepler University Linz). She has been an associate professor at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management at the University of Southern Denmark since 2017. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, regional development and innovation.

Mag. Dr. Richard Lang (Institute for Innovation Management)

Lang's post-doctorate publication "Embedded Enterprise" focuses on how social innovations emerge and develop and the role they play in the context of social and technological transformation processes.

Richard Lang earned his doctorate degree with distinction in 2012 at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He also worked there as a university assistant. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Birmingham, UK after receiving an APART scholarship from the Austrian Academy of Sciences as well as a Marie Curie Fellowship from the EU. Richard Lang currently conducts research and teaches at the Institute for Innovation Management (JKU). His current research focuses on social innovation and the role of social businesses in sustainable urban and regional development, such as in housing markets.

Priv. Doz. Dr. Julian Weghuber (Institute for Biophysics)

Weghuber’s paper titled "Identification and Quantitation of Protein-Protein Interactions Required for Cellular Signal Transduction via Micro-Structured Surfaces" focuses on developing and implementing a method based on micro-structured surfaces and fluorescence microscopy to quantitively analyze protein-protein interactions in living cells.

Born in 1979, Weghuber studied genetics in Vienna and earned a doctorate degree at MFPL Vienna. He subsequently accepted a post-doc position at JKU. Weghuber was also actively involved with the University of Applied Sciences in Upper Austria as well as at the K1-Center FFoQSI.  He has received numerous grants for his work, including the PhytoDoc from the Upper Austrian government and the EU in the amount of € 320,000 as well as the Josef Ressel Center for Phytogenic Drug Research Grant in the amount of € 1,600,000.
