Post-Doctorate for Hedda Weber

Dr. Hedda Weber received her post-doctoral teaching qualification in "Chemical Technologies of Organic Materials".

JKU Rector Meinhard Lukas presented Dr. Weber with her post-doctoral certification.

Dr. Weber studied Technical Chemistry in Graz, graduating in 1996 with honors. She received a coveted Erwin Schrödinger Fellowship to earn a post-doctorate degree at McGill University in Canada (1997-98) before joining Lenzing AG and the Wood Competence Center in positions of management and research.

She has been teaching at the JKU since 2012 (Biomass Utilization / Organic Chemistry). She has also been lecturing at the TU Graz since 2017, holding courses in lignocellulose bioresources – characterization and properties.
