JKU Legal Experts Presented with the Walter Haslinger Private Foundation Award

Three JKU experts in civil law were among the nine award winners.

The following JKU experts received awards: Dr. Thomas Aigner, Assoz. Prof. (Institute for Multimedial Linz Legal Studies, dept head: Prof. Riedler), Dr. Dominic Gerstberger, former university assistant at the Department of Private Law Development (dept head: Prof. Geroldinger), and Dr. Fabian Spendel, a university assistant at the Department of Base-Knowledge Research (dept head: Prof. Kraus).

The Walter Haslinger Award has been awarded to various individuals annually since 1996 in recognition of outstanding contributions in the area of law. Once restrictions in lieu of the Coronavirus pandemic ended, the awards ceremony between 2020-2022 could be held on-site and in-person.
