Press Conference for the New Global Business Progam PAC

The new Global Business PAC program kicked-off and is a third program option in addition to the TROIKA and ACT programs. PAC includes partner universities in Peru and Canada.

Together with JKU Rector Meinhard Lukas, the Federation of Upper Austrian Industries Managing Director Joachim Heindl-Grutsch, speaker of the platform "Foundation to Support Global Management Programs at the JKU Linz" Erich Wiesner, and Global Business Alumni Kerstin Jungreithmeier, IFI Professor Robert Breitenecker held a press conference about the new PAC program featuring partner universities in Peru and Canada.

JKU Rector Meinhard Lukas spoke about the importance of internationalization at the JKU: "Internationalization and mobility as well as cooperation and networking are prerequisites for success and excellence at the JKU. Our students in the Global Business Master’s program study at outstanding partner universities, learn about different economic regions, build a global network, and actively take part in real-world projects with globally renowned companies.”

In agreement with representatives of the Federation of Upper Austrian Industries, Global Business Professor Robert Breitenecker emphasized that Global Business graduates acquire highly sought-after skills that are key for the success of internationally active companies: "Graduates of the Global Business Master's degree program are mobile and open, able to work in an international setting in various management positions. They are future managers with intercultural skills and cultural experiences, thanks to the program's special curriculum and structure."
