Prof. Kotsis Speaks at the Alpbach Forum

The JKU computer scientist will discuss the impact artificial intelligence has on our society on August 28.

The European Forum Alpbach has been held annually since 1945, focusing on corresponding socio-political issues of our time. This year’s 12-day program during August will take a look at Artificial Intelligence as experts in numerous fields discuss what advancements in AI mean for mankind, the economy and for society. JKU Professor Gabriele Kotsis (Computer Science) will be one of the experts in attendance. The JKU researcher and acting ACM President will take part in a panel discussion titled "Living with AI - Opportunities and Challenges for Society" to be held on Friday, August 28.
