Prof. Mössenböck is the New Senate Chairman

During the senate’s constituent session on October 1, the JKU Senate appointed a new chairman.

Computer Science Professor Hanspeter Mössenböck was elected Senate Chairman. Prof. Johann Höller was elected first deputy chairman, Dr. Andrea Navarro-Quezada as second deputy chairwoman, and student Felix Kastner as third deputy chairman.

The University Senate consists of 26 members elected by the members of the university for a three-year term of office. It is the university’s supreme governing body alongside the Rectorate and the University Council.
