On Wednesday, Rector Lukas spoke about the outgoing student union chair: "Edin Kustura had all the virtues necessary to successfully serve as chair of the Austrian Student Union. Although at times negotiations, conversations and discussions with Edin Kustura about various subjects could often be tough, they were always constructive and purposeful. He is distinguished by his true-to-word quality and unwavering commitment to students' concerns. His successful negotiations on behalf of the students also served as accomplishments for the university. On behalf of the Johannes Kepler University of Linz as well as personally, I would like to wish Edin Kustura all the best for his law studies, now once again the focus of his attention."

Rector Lukas also took the opportunity to congratulate the new Student Union chair, Mario Hofer. "We look forward to working together with Mr. Hofer and believe we can continue consistent and successful joint discussions between university management and the student representatives.
