Science and Responsibility? Funding and Support by the JKU

The JKU recently joined forces to be a part of the “Responsible Science” program.

“Responsible Science” aims to support knowledge transfer and raise the visibility level of research to the public by supporting future-oriented education. Integrating the civilian population should bring about new perspectives and challenges that can be overcome with the help of research. Furthermore, the program will help science become more understood and accepted. JKU Rector Meinhard Lukas signed the agreement, committing the JKU to creating spaces to support “Responsible Science” and, in cooperation with other institutions, bring more science awareness to the general public.
