Upper Austrian author and Linz historian Roman Sandgruber won a competition organized by the Ministry of Science.

JKU Professor emeritius Roman Sandgruber’s book “Rothschild” about the splendor and demise of the Vienna World House won in the category of “Geistes-, Sozial- und Kulturwissenschaften”. This is Prof. Sandgruber’s 30th publication and the third edition of the book has already been published.

A jury of experts nominated five books in four categories and a total of 9,000 people voted for the winners.
