Success for the JKU and Economic Chamber of Upper Austria at International Competition

The 10th annual international student start-up competition "ebmc" took place at the Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart. The two-day competition hosted over 50 students from 28 countries from around the globe all over the world, including students from China, Scotland and Greece. Students were challenged to create future solutions for Stuttgart's landmarks.

The JKU and the Economic Chamber of Upper Austria team included the business consultant at the Economic Chamber and lecturer at the Institute for Entrepreneurship along with students Edith Öller, Julia Legat, and Benjamin Mooslechner. The team impressed the jury with their ideas. Benjamin Mooslechner, creator of start-up company "MoxVR", along with the team of students from the Institute for Entrepreneurship, developed an interactive museum concept for Stuttgart and was presented with an award by the jury. Coached by business consultant Alexander Stockinger, the team impressed the jury and the audience with its idea for a new logistics concept for companies in Stuttgart's city center and were presented with the Audience Award.

Next year’s "ebmc" competition will take place in Strasbourg.
