The 10^th annual awards ceremony took place as part of a gala evening at the Vienna University of Technology’s Kuppelsaal. Helga Ludwig (JKU Institute for Machine Learning) won the online voting and was presented with an award in recognition of her outstanding Master’s thesis. Ms. Ludwig’s thesis not only focuses on antibody classification based on amino acid sequences, but also compares different types of machine learning and deep learning methods. In this regard, her research contributes significantly to advancements in biology and medicine.
