The Ombudsman at Johannes Kepler University Linz sees itself as the first point of contact for researchers who want to raise allegations of scientific misconduct. The moral responsibility for honesty in science rests with each individual person, however, this should maintain a minimum standard of scientific integrity. Confidentiality and dignity are paramount.
The Ombudsman's Office is coordinated by the Vice Rectorate for Research, Gender and Diversity.
We kindly ask you to send your request to the e-mail address email@example.com, which is located in the Vice Rectorate for Research, or send it directly to the Vice Rector for Research or the Dean of the Faculty whose field is closest to you. Your request will then be forwarded to the chairperson of the ombudsman, who will decide how to proceed.
The Johannes Kepler University Linz is a member of the Austrian Agency for Scientific Integrity (OeAWI). Inquiries can, of course, also be made directly with OeAWI.
