Merit Scholarships.

The application deadline for the 2018/2019 academic year has passed. Applicants will receive e-mail notification by mid-January 2020 in regards to receiving a merit scholarship.

Merit scholarships are awarded in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.

A merit scholarship may not be less than € 750 but not exceed € 1,500 for two semesters. Merit scholarships can also be awarded in addition to a study grant.

You can only apply for a merit scholarship is once a year - usually in October. The minimum requirements, required documents, and application deadlines are outlined in the call for applications. The call will be published in the JKU Linz newsletter. Click here to subscribe.

Published List of Applicants

In accordance with Sec. 61 (4) of the Student Support Act as amended by BGBl I No. 47/2008 in the currently valid version, educational institutions awarding a merit scholarship must publish a ranking of applicants. The Johannes Kepler University Linz herewith complies with the publication requirement. For data privacy reasons, the list is anonymous.
