Study grants serve to help fund unfinished academic and scientific work (Diploma degree theses, Master's theses and doctoral dissertations) that are a required part of an academic degree program. The grant is intended to help supplement the costs incurred to prepare the groundwork and the costs that are not covered by the supervising institute's budget or by other sources.
A study grant may not be less than € 750 but not exceed € 3,600. Study grants can also be awarded in addition to a merit scholarship.

After the submission deadline, the corresponding working groups will review the applications and render a decision. All applicants will receive e-mail notification in regard to their grant application.
