The academic subject area of Chemistry and Polymer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for a permanent professorship position under private law for a
Professor of Analytical Chemistry
to begin immediately. The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act. An evaluation will be conducted after a five-year period.
We are looking for a well-known, internationally recognized and reputable scientist and expert in the field of Analytical Chemistry. The candidate’s thematic research focus should lie in a current subject area of in organic analytical chemistry, such as - but not limited to - clinical and bio-analytics, environmental analysis, analysis of natural and synthetic macromolecules, and polymers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching university-level courses in analytical chemistry.
Applicants for the position must hold a venia docendi (habilitation) academic qualification, or a comparable post-doctoral qualification in analytical chemistry and/or a closely related scientific field.

A salary above the minimum amount as stated in the collective agreement will be voluntarily offered. This amount is currently € 73,438.40.
