Professorship for Technical Mechanics.

In accordance with § 94 Sec. 2 subpara. 1 of the Austrian Universities Act, the Institute of Technical Mechanics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz announces a faculty opening for a University Professor for Technical Mechanics

The Institute of Technical Mechanics at the Johannes Kepler University invites applications for a permanent professorship under private law for a Professor for Technical Mechanics to begin immediately. The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act and the successful candidate will succeed o.Univ.Prof. DI Dr. Dr.h.c. Hans Irschik.

The successful candidate is expected to actively engage in and further develop research and teaching.

A salary above the minimum amount of 70,071.40 € as stated in the collective agreement will be voluntarily offered. Depending on the current position (present salary), the annual gross salary will be between € 80,000 and € 100,000 (minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement plus voluntary additional payments).
