The candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree.
In accordance with the collective agreement for employees and the Austrian Universities Act, the Institute of Financial Accounting and Auditing at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics & Business announces an opening for a full-time (40 h/week), six-year Tenure Track position at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. The candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree.
The position is aimed at highly qualified junior researchers who specialize in and hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. in the field of Accounting – Compliance. The position includes the possibility of a qualification agreement that may lead to a permanent position as Associate Professor (§ 99 Sec. 5 and 6 of the AustrianUniversities Act) given the successful completion of the requirements stated in the agreement.
The successful candidate should have an outstanding academic track record after the Doctorate/Ph.D. (completed no longer than five years ago and in the case of parental leave or work periods extended to no longer than 10 years ago), show excellence in academic publishing, and possess outstanding university-level teaching experience. The minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is EUR 53,254.60 gross per year. Once the qualification agreement has been signed, the minimum annual gross salary will be EUR 62, 977.60.
