In accordance with the collective agreement for employees and the Universities Act, the Linz Institute of Technology (LIT) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab of the Johannes Kepler University Linz announces an opening for a full-time (40 h/week), six-year Tenure Track position. The candidate must hold a Doctorate/PhD degree.
The position is intended for highly qualified young scientists with a focus on machine learning for applications in chemoinformatics and offers the possibility of entering into a qualification agreement and thus – after positive evaluation – a permanent position as associate professor (§ 99 Sec 5 and 6 of the Universities Act).
The candidate should be able to demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and extensive teaching activities. The successful candidate must have a doctorate or Ph.D. degree in a subject that matches the research focus of the position which preferably was awarded no more than five years ago.
