Announcement of a tenure-track position "Biophysical Signalling” with doctorate/PhD according to the collective agreement of university employees at the Institute of Biophysics, Department of Molecular and Membrane Biophysics of the Faculty of Engineering and Technical Natural Science at the Johannes Kepler University Linz

At the Institute of Biophysics, Department of Molecular and Membrane Biophysics at the Faculty of Engineering and Technical Natural Science at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, a tenure-track position is to be filled by a person with doctorate/Ph.D. The position is limited to 6 years, full time 40h/week, according to the collective agreement of university employees.

The position is intended for highly qualified young scientists with a doctorate/Ph.D. in a subject that matches the research focus of “Biophysical Signalling”. It offers the possibility of entering into a qualification agreement and thus – after positive evaluation – a permanent position as associate professor (§99 Sec 5 and 6 of the Universities Act).

The candidate should be able to demonstrate outstanding academic achievements including excellent publications and teaching activities, following a doctorate/Ph.D. degree which was awarded no more than twelve years ago (times of maternity/paternity leave not included). The minimum annual salary in accordance with the collective agreement is EUR 53,254.60 gross. Once the qualification agreement has been signed, the minimum annual gross salary will be EUR 62, 977.60.
