Tenure-Track Postion for Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management Accounting.

In accordance with the collective agreement for employees, the Institute of Management Accounting at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics & Business announces an opening for a Tenure Track position “Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management Accounting” at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. The candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree.

To support the focus on Management Accounting of the Faculty of Social Sciences Economics & Business, and in accordance with the collective agreement for employees and the Universities Act, the Institute of Management Accounting announces an opening for a full-time (40 h/week), six-year Tenure Track position in Business Administration at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. The candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree.

The position is aimed at highly qualified junior researchers who hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. in Business Administration and specializes in the field of “Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management Accounting”. The position includes the possibility of a qualification agreement that may lead to a permanent position as Associate Professor (§ 99 Sec. 5 and 6 of the Universities Act) given the successful completion of the requirements stated in the agreement.

The successful candidate should have an outstanding academic track record after the Doctorate/Ph.D. in Business Administration (completed no longer than three years ago, parental leave and practice periods are taken into account), show excellence in academic publishing, and possess outstanding university-level teaching experience. The minimum annual salary in accordance with the collective agreement is EUR 53,254.60 gross. Once the qualification agreement has been signed, the minimum annual gross salary will be EUR 62, 977.60.
