The JKU Welcome Day is an opportunity to get to know your university better and find out what you need to know to successfully start your studies!

When you come to campus, check-in at the Kepler Hall and get your JKU 'swag bag'! After that, you can take part in a campus tour, attend a JKU Austrian Student Union mentoring session, or learn more about the Main Campus Library. Sign up here for whatever interests you!

Campus Tours

The JKU "Somnium" viewing platform, the Science Park, the Mensa... Let our guides take you on a tour of the JKU campus! Ask questions at the end of the tour either in break-out sessions or simply chat with each other to get to know each other a bit better. The online campus tours focus on certain subject areas and there is also a general tour offered in English.

The JKU Austrian Student Union & JKU Alumni

Get to know Austrian Student Union (JKU) representatives as well as your JKU Student Union mentors! We have organized one morning session and one afternoon session.



Would you like to work while you study?  The Kepler Society (the JKU's alumni association) is your point of contact and provides support services to apply for open positions as well as help in your job search.

JKU Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament

Your studies don't just include classes and lectures - games, sports and fun are also part of studying! Get into the team spirit at the JKU by taking part in a co-ed volleyball tournament at the Kepler Hall betwee 2:00 and 6:00 PM. The teams will consist of four field players and two alternate players. When you sign up, indicate your skill level as well as who you would like to play with. The tournament organizers will divide the teams up before the start of the tournament, taking your skill level into account so the tournament is as balanced as possible.

Your JKU swag bag is waiting for you here - pick your bag up at any time during our office hours: Monday - Thursday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Fridays between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
When on campus, please comply with the current Austrian "2.5 G Rule", adhere to social distancing rules, and wear an FFP2 face mask.
