“Generally, the Seminar Applied B2B-Marketing provides the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to a practical problem. By solving marketing problems for a company that operates in the business-to-business market, it is possible to gather valuable practical insights and to gain great experiences. During the whole seminar, there is a continuous and close collaboration and interaction with a well-known company like Fronius. Thereby students get the chance to get profound insights into the strategic marketing of those companies. By working on the practical project, students can make a valuable contribution to find an adequate problem solution that is important for the company and that affects future decisions made within the company. Further, using a structured scientific approach during the project, which is intensively accompanied by the marketing department of JKU, is a good preparation for the completion of the master thesis.” (Karina Bauernfeind, Christine Fischer, Endale Geberensenbet, Benjamin Heleg)

“The seminar “Applied B2B-Marketing” was a very challenging course. However, it was very interesting to gain a deeper insight into the practical implementation of the learnings from university. We were able to use our knowledge gained during the master courses at university in order to solve real problems in a company. It is a fantastic experience to see, how the effort and work is used in reality and is valued by the company. Furthermore, it gave us the possibility to further develop our abilities to work in a team and conduct a project of that size and work amount on our own responsibility.“ (Melanie Greisinger, Philipp Leherbauer, Bianca Pöttinger)
