Assoz. Prof.in Mag.a Dr.in Nicole Kronberger

Zur Person

Nicole Kronberger ist seit 2012 am Institut für Psychologie der JKU tätig, wo sie als Assoziierte Professorin an der Abteilung Sozialpsychologie, Personalentwicklung und Erwachsenenbildung die Bereiche Sozialpsychologie, soziale Kompetenz und Forschungsmethoden vertritt. Davor verbrachte sie Lehr- und Forschungsaufenthalte u.a. an der London School of Economics and Political Science (UK), der Universität Cambridge (UK), am Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE, Portugal) sowie an der Universität Kyoto (Japan). Sie promovierte an der Universität Wien, habilitierte an der JKU und beteiligte sich an zahlreichen internationalen Forschungskooperationen. In ihren Projekten adressiert sie gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen moderner Gesellschaften aus sozialpsychologischer Perspektive und oft in interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit, zu Themen wie Umgang mit (technologischer) Innovation, soziale und kulturelle Aspekte menschlichen Erlebens, Stereotype und Diskriminierung, Intergruppenbeziehungen, und Verhandlungsprozessen.
