Ihre Aufgaben:

• Eigenständige Forschungstätigkeit im Bereich Public und Nonprofit Management (Ausrichtung auf empirische Forschung)
• Verfassen einer Dissertation
• Mitarbeit an Forschungsprojekten des Lehrstuhls
• Selbstständige Lehre in den Bereichen Public und Nonprofit Management
• (Ko-) Betreuung von Abschlussarbeiten (Bachelor/Master)
• Mitarbeit an den administrativen Aufgaben des Instituts

Ihr Profil:

• Abgeschlossenes facheinschlägiges wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Studium, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt in den Bereichen Public und Nonprofit Management
• Gute Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Statistik, Ökonometrie und quantitative Verfahren sollten vorhanden sein
• Inhaltliche Ausrichtung auf Forschungsthemen in den Gebieten des Public Managements, des öffentlichen Rechnungswesens oder des Technologie- und Innovationsmanagements sind gewünscht
• Umfangreiche EDV- und Softwareerfahrung
• Ausgezeichnete Kenntnisse der deutschen und englischen Sprache (Niveaustufe C1)
• Teamfähigkeit
• Kenntnisse universitärer Abläufe und Strukturen sind von Vorteil
• Erfahrungen in der Lehre sind von Vorteil

Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a full-time, three-year position at the Institute of Public and Nonprofit Management

Job Duties:

• Conduct independent research activities in the field of public and nonprofit management (focus on empirical research)
• Complete a doctoral dissertation
• Actively take part in the institute’s research activities
• Independently hold university-level courses in the field of public and nonprofit management
• (Co-) supervise Bachelor’s/Master’s theses
• Provide support to manage the institute’s general administration activities

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in a related field of economics, preferably with a focus on public and nonprofit management
• Expertise in the field of statistics, econometrics and quantitative analysis are highly desired but not required
• Candidates conducting research in public management, public accounting, or technology and innovation management are preferred
• Strong command of IT systems and software
• Outstanding German and English skills (level C1)
• Strong team player
• An understanding of structures and procedures in university governance are highly desired but not required
• Professional teaching experience is highly desired but not required
