Today, Elke Schüßler will hold a virtual lecture at King's College London. Prof. Schüßler will present ongoing research from the DFG-sponsored project "Organized Creativity, öffnet eine externe URL in einem neuen Fenster" which analyzes creative processes in an arts (music) and science-based (pharma) context. Particularly, she will present an article co-authored with Jörg Sydow (FU Berlin), Birke Otto (European University Viadrina) and Lukas Vogelgsang (BTU Cottbus) that examines the temporal work practices of scientists in pharmaceutical innovation processes based on a multi-temporal ethnography of R&D processes in pharmaceutical drug development - a study which could not be more timely given the highly accelerated drug development processes regarding a Covid-19 vaccine.
