“Interdisciplinary Business Project” of JKU´s Master Program
On July 4th, the final presentations of the Master Seminar “Interdisciplinary Business Project” of JKU´s Master Program “Management” took place at the Freistädter Brauhaus. The seminar is a cooperative teaching format of the Institute for Retailing, Sales and Marketing, the Institute for Strategic Management, the Institute for International Management and the Institute of Leadership and Change Management. Four cooperation partners (KEBA AG, voestalpine Steel Division, Greiner AG and Fronius International GmbH) participated in the seminar and did not only provide topics to the students, but also offered practice-oriented supervision.
This semester the students presented the following topics:
The Fronius student team highlighted their results on “The impact of AI on B2B buying centers and consequences for Fronius selling approach”, whereas the Keba groups gave insights into the results of their topics “Scenario development”, “AI tools for foresight and innovation management” and “Implementing management performance approaches into a holacratic company”. The Greiner groups dealt with the topicf “Implemention of structural ambidexterity” and “When AI sits on the board”. Finally, the voestalpine student groups presented results on “Status quo analysis and evolution of the sponsorship between the voestalpine steel division and LASK Performance Academy” and “Market validation”.
The students successfully managed to present their solutions of practical marketing and strategy problems in B2B markets.
A brewery tour after the presentations enhanced the overall event experience. The tour was followed by a dinner, where students and supervisors enjoyed engaging conversations in an sociable atmosphere.
