Since its foundation at the Institute of Organization Science in 2013, this year the Austrian Early Scholars Workshop marked its tenth edition and was hosted by the University of Graz. The primary objective of the workshop is to provide early career researchers in the fields of Management, Organization, Human Resource Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship with the opportunity to expand their professional networks, establish connections with fellow researchers and receive valuable feedback from distinguished scholars in their respective domains.
This year’s faculty comprised esteemed researchers from various institutions, including John Amis from the University of Edinburgh, Blagoy Blagoev from TU Dresden, Waldemar Kremser from JKU Linz, Johanna Mair from Hertie School of Governance Berlin and Stanford University, Renate Meyer from WU Vienna and CBS Copenhagen, Elke Schüßler from JKU Linz, Stoyan Sgourev from New Bulgarian University and Ca’ Foscari University Venice, and Ingo Weller from LMU Munich. The faculty members, possessing extensive knowledge and experience in their respective fields, provided valuable insights and constructive feedback to help early scholars refine their research objectives, methods, and theoretical frameworks. The integration of a diverse set of perspectives and research approaches enriched the quality of discussions, facilitating fresh ideas.
We thank Renate Ortlieb and her team at the University of Graz, Guiseppe Delmestri (WU Vienna) and Robert Bauer (JKU Linz) for their dedication and commitment in organizing yet another successful edition of the Austrian Early Scholars Workshop. Their efforts have enabled a collaborative and inspiring academic environment.
