Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Meingassner­­­

Curriculum Vitae

Andreas Meingassner was born in Braunau, Austria, in 1995. From 2016 till 2022 he studied Electronics and Information Technology at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, where he obtained his Dipl.-Ing. degree. Besides his studies, he worked as a student employee at the Institute of Signal Processing (hardware design), and at Infineon Technologies Linz (radar communications/ concept engineering department). During his studies, he specialized in signal processing and information technologies. His bachelor’s thesis focused on the incorporation of system knowledge into neural networks, while his master’s thesis focused on model parametrization of RF mixers for FMCW radar systems. Since November 2022, he is with the Institute of Signal Processing at JKU, where he is working towards his PhD within the Christian Doppler (CD) Laboratory for Digitally Assisted RF Transceivers for Future Mobile Communications. His research focuses on self-interference cancellation for joint communications and sensing.
