The Circus of Knowledge
What's that?

Institutes, schools, other departments, and programs create their own web content and menus.

We Know More Than We Are Capable of Saying.

While it seems like knowing something implies an ability to say something, in terms of what we are able to assess and do, we know far more than we are capable of saying. For example, we can ride a bicycle perfectly well, yet we are unable to say much about the physical laws of balance. Experience has to teach us a lot about what we are capable of doing.

In keeping within the plurality and diversity of knowledge forms, the JKU Linz supports the Circus of Knowledge and the Kepler Salon, creating opportunities to experience new knowledge in a hands-on, sensory-driven, and discursive approach. The JKU plays a unique, international pioneering role with regard to sharing knowledge through art.
