What's that?

JUS is a Class Act.

In partnership with the Austrian Student Union for Law and the JKU Dept. of University Communications, the Faculty of Law has created the "Jus hat Klasse" program for interested school students to learn more about studying law and getting a taste of student life on campus.

In addition to a wide range of presentations and workshops on the subject of law, higher-level school students can take part in moot court proceedings as audience members.

There are also opportunities to arrange campus tours focusing on the subject area of law (a tour of the Juridicum Bldg., the law library, discussions with law students/law professors)

Students from the Austrian Student Union for Law can go to schools and provide information about what studying law is really like.

We would like to mention the Austrian judiciary's "Judiciary Goes to School" program that not only includes presentations at schools, but also opportunities to sit in during a court hearing or tour an actual courtroom.
