Prof. Stadlmeier, director of the institute, participated in the autumn meeting of the “Luftrechtsforum”, or air law forum, a group of leading scholars and practitioners of air law from Germany, Switzerland and Austria (which can only be joined upon invitation). The group discussed recent case law of the Court of Justice of the EU on passenger rights, as well as recent development in EU secondary legislation on aviation matters. The next regular spring meeting will convene in Berlin, while the autumn meeting 2019 will – for the first time ever – be held at JKU Linz.
