Curriculum Vitae

Marian Niedermayr studied history and art history at the University of Vienna. In 2016 he graduated with a bachelor's degree in art history and in 2020 with a master's degree in history with the focus on economic and social history. His master's thesis dealt with the viticulture of the Vienna City Hospital in the 17th century.
Since October 2021, he has been working as a university assistant at the Department for Social and Economic History and is writing his dissertation on labour relations in the early modern manorial agriculture in Lower Austria.
His research interests are economic and social history of the early modern period, agricultural history, and the history of free and unfree labour relations.
