I am a research associate at the Institute for Machine Learning, opens in new window headed by Prof. Sepp Hochreiter, opens an external URL in a new window (Father of LSTM) at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz.

I am interested in computer vision and machine learning in general. My research is mainly about vision-language models, multimodal learning, domain adaptation and video understanding.

I did my PhD at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision, opens an external URL in a new window, Graz University of Technology, opens an external URL in a new window (TU Graz ICG) in Austria, supervised by Prof. Horst Bischof, opens an external URL in a new window (Professor and the Rector of TU Graz) and Prof. Hilde Kuehne, opens an external URL in a new window (University of Bonn, opens an external URL in a new window, Goethe University Frankfurt, opens an external URL in a new window, MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, opens an external URL in a new window).

Previously, I received my Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, opens an external URL in a new window in Germany, and my Bachelor's degree in Eletronic and Information Engineering at the Beihang University, opens an external URL in a new window in China.
