Best Presentation Award

Sandra Keppert received the “Best Presentation Award” for her conference talk with the title “Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 Thin Film Fabrication for Nanostructuring to Investigate Vortex Dynamics”. She presented the talk at the 2023 IEEE 13th International Conference which was focused on the applications and properties of nanomaterials from 10.-15. September in Bratislava, Slovakia.
She presented about the properties of her superconducting thin films produced by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) and their planned nanostructuring. This will lead to gaining insight into the mysterious behaviors of materials in the superconducting state and give ideas for potential applications.
Sandra’s work is funded by the FWF and conducted at the JKU Institute of Applied Physics under the supervision of a.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Johannes D. Pedarnig. It is part of a collaboration with the project leader a.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Lang at the University Vienna.
