PhD.

Through their research, creativity and commitment, doctoral students play a key role in shaping the development of our discipline and are an indispensable contribution to the scientific examination of our research priorities.

Requirements

  • The dissertation is an independent scientific work - with high quality standards - which must contribute to the development of new findings. For this purpose, it is also necessary to present the current scientific discussion in the selected subject area, to follow it continuously and to form networks.
  • These goals can only be achieved through intensive cooperation with your supervisor or team of supervisors.
  • At the same time, the highest level of commitment and a high degree of free time resources (over a period of approx. 3 years) are required on the part of the doctoral candidate.

Preconditions

  • Formal requirements for doctoral studies
  • Accepted concept for writing a dissertation: An excellent concept is the main criterion for your application to be accepted.

Topics

  • The topic can be chosen freely, but must have a concrete connection to the field of "Strategic Management" and our current research priorities (see Research).

You are welcome to send us an initial letter of motivation on how you can meet these requirements, including an initial idea of your research focus. In a further step, we invite selected candidates to create a dissertation concept.
