Transferring Expertise at Companies and to the Public.

Research can never be an end in itself. Base-knowledge research forges a path to the future and applied research leads industrial advancements. And all this must be presented in laymen's terms to the public.

Students and faculty members in the academic and scientific area of Mechatronics focus on conducting base-knowledge research as well as developing real-world applications. There are many collaboration efforts with research partners and companies aimed at cutting-edge advancements in science and industry. Knowledge-transfer to the broad general public is just as important  - be it at events such as the Long Night of Research, the "KinderUni" summer program for children, presentations, and lab demonstrations.
