Stefano Fioravanti completed his Ph.D. studies

Stefano Fioravanti successfully defended his thesis "Clonoids, clones, and Mal’cev conditions".

The Institute for Algebra congratulates its member Stefano Fioravanti on the successful completion of his Ph.D. studies. He defended his thesis on "Clonoids, clones, and Mal’cev conditions" today in a well-attended Zoom meeting. The results of his thesis were obtained in the framework of Erhard Aichinger's FWF project "Clonoids: a unifying approach to equational logic and clones", and have been presented at several international conferences, including one invited presentation. Before joining our institute, Dr. Fioravanti had done his undergraduate studies at the University of Siena, Italy. We thank him for the pleasant cooperation and wish him all the best for his future.
