The two members of the Institute for Communications Engineering and RF-Systems, DI Muhammad Furqan and DI Faisal Ahmed, were awarded for their publication "A D-Band Fully-Differential Quadrature FMCW Radar Transceiver With 11 dBm Output Power and a 3-dB 30-GHz Bandwidth in SiGe BiCMOS" at the International Microwave Symposiums in Honolulu.
