Pharmacology is the study of drugs, molecules and biologicals - how they interact with other molecules in the body, how the body affects them and how they affect the body. At the Institute of Pharmacology, we do not only teach Bachelor and Master students of human medicine a rational pharmacotherapeutic approach, but also convey an understanding of basic mechanisms behind drug actions to Master Students and PhD-Candidates.
