The Johannes Kepler University, the LIT Open Innovation Center, and our DC partners would like to extend an invitation to sign up for this year's 2024 Danube Cup! The Danube Cup is an exciting international, 3-day pitching competition that will take place at the LIT Open Innovation Center between May 15 - 17, 2024.

The Danube Cup is a challenging pitching competition bringing talented start-up teams from eight international universities and various innovation and technology sectors together, giving these selected teams an opportunity during the competition to apply their skills and showcase their unique selling proposition, as well as share ideas with the start-up community and other international partners.

The teams are required to successfully qualify during a national pre-selection competition in which they also meet other national start-up teams. Each partner university then nominates two teams to take part in the semi-finals. The respective universities support the sixteen teams as they prepare to compete in the semi-finals. In order to qualify, the teams must meet specific criteria and then be nominated by both the delegating universities in the Danube Cup network and by the jury.
