This talk by Andres Marafioti, opens an external URL in a new window will introduce the machine learning-related research done at the Acoustics Research Institute (ARI) in Vienna.

However, since this is not the institute's main topic, the talk will first present more generally the different groups that coincide at the ARI. Naturally, a central topic of research is Acoustics and human's perception of sound phenomena (psychoacoustics), where ARI's researchers have not yet found a natural integration of machine learning.

By presenting both past works and future ideas to the researchers from the institute of computational perception, we hope to be able to strenghthen the institutes connection and set the foundations for healthy collaborations.
