Best Student Paper Award for CP members at ISMIR 2022 conference for tracing globalization.

Oleg Lesota and Emilia Parada-Cabaleiro were the lucky ones to receive the prize at the conference-site.

The paper Traces of Globalization in Online Music Consumption Patterns and Results of Recommendation Algorithms, opens an external URL in a new window by CP members Oleg Lesota, Emilia Parada-Cabaleiro, Navid Rekabsaz, Stefan Brandl, Prof. Markus Schedl in collaboration with Elisabeth Lex from TU Graz received best student paper award at the 23rd International Society for Music Information Retrieval Conference (ISMIR 2022).

Along with other CP members the co-authors went to Bengaluru, India to present their paper at ISMIR 2022 in a special track dedicated to cultural and social diversity in music information retrieval.
